Palms start to sweat and thousands of hearts race when Bella Swan's voice flows through the opening dialogue of the mega hit franchise's second edition, "The Twilight Saga: New Moon"
Around 500 fans gathered at the Ormond Beach Regal for the hectic unveiling of the much-anticipated release.
Taylor Lautner as werewolf Jacob Black stole the movie with his innocent charm and perfectly chiseled body. He took care of Bella, played by Kristen Stewart, in her deepest time of need. Revealing his darkest secrets while falling hopelessly in love.
Taylor hit the gym using a grueling workout to gain nearly 35 pounds of muscle for the movie. It clearly paid off since most of his scenes he's walking around shirtless.
The movie's framing and digital images that helped transform the werewolves was fantastic. Showing great detail while leaving the mythical aspect of the creatures.
But all attempts of Jacob to steal Bella's heart were all quickly shattered. As Bella traveled across the globe to save her true love Edward Cullen.
While Stephenie Myer's book "New Moon" in the four part series primarily focuses on Jacob's story. His change into a werewolf and friendship with Bella. The movie version made sure to keep Rob Pattinson's face as Edward Cullen close in the viewers mind.
The intense love story between the two of them could not be matched by the relationship of Bella and Jacob.
Maybe the most interesting part of the "Twilight" series are the fans.
"We revolve in a culture our own. You decide which character you feel Bella should end up with. Then you are either Team Edward or Team Jacob. The best part about the books and movies are the elements of romance, it's not so much about the vampire or werewolves aspects. They just add icing on the cake." Brianna Peterson explains waiting in line to enter the packed theater.
In a homemade Team Edward shirt Lauren Caughie adds "Some take it a little far though, someone at my work is actually getting vampire fangs put onto her teeth, which is kind of crazy."
The movie ends leaving a perfect opening for "Eclipse" the third installment. Which just wrapped filming last month and is already one of the most anticipated movies of 2010.
Make sure to go see this movie and get
wrapped up in a world a possibilities.
