"With all the insults being thrown back and forth between the candidates, I don't know who to believe or vote for, or even if I should vote. What should I do?" -Undecided Voter
We learned in the last two elections that every person's vote does count, sort of, so if you care about the outcome of this campaign then you should vote. Both candidates have shown themselves to be what voters dread - horrible politicians. This makes your choice a hard one.
Neither candidate will stop being a politician, so maybe you could flip a coin. You can try doing what I did in 2004 and vote for both or you can vote for neither, thereby staying home and saving gas money. If you insist on voting, which is your basic right as a citizen, vote responsibly. In a democracy everyone is not equally knowledgeable, but we all suffer equally after the election. Don't waste your rights by Christmas-treeing the ballot, make your mind up before you go.
Don't vote on appearances, because the president always looks 20 years older halfway through the term and you will only be disappointed when you see them on the news. Find out each candidate's goals and beliefs and vote for what they say they will do, even though they probably won't.
Finally, you can check out our special election section that breaks down the candidates on what they have to offer. It's always good to know where the candidates stand because one of them will steer us to failure or prosperity.
