FalconForce names dynamic foursome

Initiated two years ago, FalconForce is a program designed to recognize and honor DBCC accomplishments. Nominations were received in December to recognize four employees with the FalconForce MVP 2006 Award. The winners were announced during the Spring Welcome Back program. And the winners are:
Representing Faculty - Kim Titus
In addition to many other accomplishments, Titus has consistently gone the extra mile to improve the design and delivery of online instruction at DBCC. She has written tutorial modules to help faculty new to online teaching and is always available to answer faculty questions regarding quality course design.
Representing Professional Employees - Scott Green
This winner has been an incredible resource for so many events and workshops. He never says "no." Many people know that he has a "job within a job." His other job consists of coordinating all of the needs for the events in the Goddard and the Theater Center, and the needs consist of everything from the sound, plants and décor, temperature, to lighting and seating - sometimes even costumes!
Representing Administration - Susan Johnson
Johnson is involved with the Faculty Association of Community Colleges or FACC, as well as Falcon sports. She has actively recruited many new FACC members and encouraged staff participation in student sports. She has really done a great job organizing and creating an efficient computer support unit for the college.
Representing Career Employees - Miriam Ruiz
Ruiz provides exemplary service for students. In any way she can, she strives to make connections that go beyond the minimum to help students not just to achieve their minimum academic goals but also to persist and achieve their dreams. Her customer service is impeccable. She is a dedicated student advocate.
