ORLANDO - Halloween Horror Nights is returning to Universal Studios, where it all began, to celebrate its "Sweet 16" with a horror-filled homecoming that will feature new twists on the most frightening scares from the past 15 years to create the ultimate Halloween experience.
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando - one of the country's largest and most elaborate Halloween celebrations - will return to the Universal Studios theme park for 19 select nights running from Sept. 29-30 through Oct. 31.

The gruesome guest list will include the most frightening characters from the past, including The Storyteller, The Director, The Caretaker and Jack.
"We have robbed the graves of Halloween Horror Nights to create a new, more terrifying monster," says Universal Director of Entertainment T.J. Mannarino. "This year will be more intense and frightening than ever before, and the icons will dominate the entire event from haunted house to shows… it's their world."
College students are being offered discounts when they come as a group of 20 or more. A Sunday through Thursday ticket for Oct. 8, 11-12, 15, 19, 22, 26, 29 and 31 is $26.36 plus tax. Friday tickets on Sept. 29, Oct. 6, 13, 20 and 27 are $34.16 plus tax. Saturday tickets are $49.95 on Sept. 30, Oct. 7, 14, 21 and 28. A Scream Early Pass, which costs $10 for the upgrade, gives ticketholders the chance to visit Islands of Adventure for three hours prior to Halloween Horror Nights.
Regular admission to the annual event is $59.95 plus tax. Florida residents can purchase tickets in advance for a $7 savings. Residents can also purchase tickets for $27 less with online purchases offered through specially marked packages of Coca-Cola.
