The Daytona State College women's golf team came into this season with two lofty expectations. The team wanted a No. 1 ranking and to win a national championship. Having accomplished its goal of a top ranking, the team is now preparing to host the NJCAA National Championship Tournament on May 17-20 at LPGA International.

As enrollment at Daytona State College continues to rise, the intramurals program is also growing to meet the needs of an expanding student body. Student activities specialist Lori Lemoine is planning a lot of new things to make the program even more of a success.
